A Tea Blending & Botanical Sketching Experience at Anousha Herb Farm
My journey began on the slopes of Mount Tochal in Iran, where wild herbs sparked my curiosity about nature’s healing power. Today, at Anousha Herb Farm in Imereti, Georgia, I work with these plants every day as an herbalist and founder of Anousha Tea.
During this farm experience, you’ll explore the land, discover seasonal herbs and flowers, choose a plant to sketch, and learn how to balance flavours and aromas as you create your own herbal tea blend.
We’ll finish with a farm lunch, herbal tea and relaxed conversation. You’ll also take your own tea blend home as a little memory of the day.
Activities
Herb walk & picking – 30 mins
Walk through the farm, discover seasonal herbs and flowers, and pick a plant to sketch later at the cottage.
Herbal Tea blending – 1 hour
Explore herbs and learn how to balance their flavours and aromas. Create your own tea blend, give it a name.
Botanical Sketching – 45 mins
Take a quiet moment to observe your plant, its leaves, flowers and shape. Create a simple botanical sketch.
Farm Lunch and Conversation – 1 hour
Enjoy a farm lunch with herbal tea and relaxed conversation.
